Grandparent Resource Center
As a grandparent, you are coping with intense feelings of grief, not only for the grandchild who had died but for the pain your own child is experiencing. We are here to help you as well. Family members are welcome to all our support groups and special events. Attending these with your grieving child is a good way of building a network of family support. We can also send a grief packet to anyone who has experienced the death of a grandchild and have a “peer companion” grandparent contact you to provide support in person, over the phone, or by email. Center For Loss And Life Transitions
Led by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, we are an organization dedicated to helping people who are grieving and those who care for them. Perhaps someone you love has died, or you want to help a grieving friend or family member. Or maybe you are a professional or volunteer grief caregiver. Either way, we are here to offer resources and understanding.
